When I entered Costa Rica from Nicaragua, I was so surprised that everything clean and systematic.
Specially, local bus with wheelchair mark. It had an wheelchair lift but it was broken. Yes, here is Central America. 

Bus driver suggested me to use the next bus. I refused the proposal. I got on this bus with some passengers help.
The wheelchair lift of next bus also expect to be broken. Anyway big space is good.

Liberia. Wheelchair accessible public phone stand. Ramp at bus terminal. 
And taxi with wheelchair mark. I guess no lift. Just a big taxi and friendlly.

Nice restaurant at Liberia bus terminal. Right is breakfast.

Economy hotel was also friendly for wheelchair. There are some ramp.

Costa Rica is a nice country. Good education and government. 
Their act of accessibility should be the success model among developing country. 

Long bus to capital San Jose. Big sign their action against their accessibility.
Bus with many stairs. I can ride on it priority than other passengers.

The first line are priority seats. Mother with a small baby sit on next.
Good system and idea.

In San Jose. My hotel has two wheelchair accessible room. 33 US$. 
Their restaurant also has a wheelchair toilet.

San Jose is located in mountain. Hilly city. Hard to walk by wheelchair.
Main street is without car. Many ramp.

Nice economy restaurant in market. Fish soup was nice.

Costa Rica is famous for eco tourism. Coco island is a model of the movie " Jurassic Park ".
Hammer head shark and dolphin are designed on paper money. 

Lift bus at airport. Good accessibility. I saw two USA wheelchair tourist at airport.
Costa Rica is easy to travel than any other country in Central America. 

2 weeks travel in Central America alone.
