Yguas falls is in Brazil or Argentina, not in Paraguay.
But we can go Brazilian side without passport check from Paraguay city Este.
Around Yguas falls is National Park.  We have to use public transportation.  The bus is accessible. Non-step.

Macuta tour 36 US$ is valuable.  Stuff are kind.  They made me sit front bus and carried me on many stairs.
The boat went close to falls.  Many Brazilian of our boar were spectacular, we rushed under falls three times.  
It was so exciting and wet.  No, it is more.  It is like dropping into a pool.
Wear on a swim wear.  Be care of camera.  I could not take a photo near falls.

Paraguay, many Japanese immigrant in 1936 - 1964.  Today no immigrant because Japanese economy is good.
My friend Kaori works as a Japanese language school teacher in small city Capitan Bald in Paraguay.
She belongs to Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan official development assistance. Our tax !!! 

Capitan Bald of Paraguay and Coronel Sapucaia of Brazil are twin city.
We can come and go both country every time we want.  Paraguay road is non-paved.  Brazilian road is paved.
These around place are notorious (infamous) for cocain field. However very peaceful.  Just country side.

I happened to see festival.  Capitan Bald birth day.
This year, Japanese school participated a parade wearing Japanese traditional style.

There are many Japanese immigrant In Brazil.  They have a long history.  Now third generation.
They do not speak Japanese any more.  Their life style is Brazilian.  Some of them succeed their bussiness.
Kaori took me Japanese immigrant huge plantation firm and cattle ( 1000 cows !) firm.
I was so lucky to eat Brazilian wild food.
