Motor bike with assistant wheels is very popular in Taiwan. Many parking place for disabled bike drivers.
I saw this kind of bike for person with disability in West Africa, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso.
Any other countries include Japan, I have never seen. 
Car is high price. Bike is cheap. Good traffic tool.       video

National center for traditional art. Nice park for tourist. Old Taiwan town is rebuilt. New spot. Wheelchair friendly. 

Taiwan rapid train is like Japanese one. Good accessibility. Media followed me.

We visited Taichung mayor. He is famous for his head.

We also visited Kaoshiung mayor. She is very famous woman in Taiwan. Very powerful. 
Many person with disability work on the ground floor of city hall as a telephone operator. 

A speech in university. My Japanese was translated Taiwanese.

My book translated Taiwan Chinese. I visited Taiwan for promotion. TV, radio, newspaper, and magazine.

Yehliu geo park is located 1 hour northeast by car from Taipei.
Taiwan accessibility is getting better. Ramp and toilet for wheelchair tourist.
Everybody can enjoy feeling wind, smell, and touching rocks.

Danshui is easy access from Taipei by full accessible metro. Famous sunset point. Many shops on river side.
The ship between Danshui and Bali is accessible for wheelchair. Sailors were so kind.

Taichung city 100 year anniversary event " Riders with Disabilities of Cycling all around the Taiwan island ". It is great challenge 910 km for 12 days !  Press conference on the day before first day at Taichung city hall.

I joined 30 km cycling with them to Nantou where was held the big cycle event and their start ceremony. The event organizer rent me a handbike for me. There are 24 disabled cyclist who are mainly with clutch and two wheelchairs.

Their handbike was newly maked in Taiwan. It had a electric power. Yes, assist handbike. It is easy to climb up hills and ride faster. We can ride 30-50 km with power per one charge. Rally great inovation.

The ride was outstanding !  Many normal cyclist ride together. Police also helped us to block the signal or intersection. Nice wind on rice field and lovely sun. Many people on the road smiled and cheer up. Some people just looked us unattractively. About 100 cyclist with strange handbike went on the road. One of the best day in my life. So memorable day.

Many media waited for us at the goal.

Next day, this is the real start day. Big ceremony. The first man who ride on the handbike was the vice mayor of Taichung city. He has also disability and use crutch on daily life. I am very proud of these handcylist, sponsors, government, volunteer, and their supporters.
